Need help designing a logo for a Rockets blog

Hello peeps. A fellow TigerDroppings poster has started a blog, and I have been conntributing. It is still in the very early stages of design, but we are doing our best to put out lots of content. We need a logo, and you guys are the best, and I'm sure one of you kind people will do it for free.

Can you not just add a Trademark/Copyright icon to your site and directly within the actual logo? Why go through the trouble to create your "own" logo and possibly face copyright infringement with something that's too similar, or conversely display your own design that looks absolutely nothing like the actual logo?

I guess I should have been more specific. Looking for a sweet "H-Town Hoops" font. If I a copyrighted Rockets logo was included in there, that would probably look good too.
