LSU stripes (pants, or helmet)

The inspiration is Buckeye Backer's avatar image. Here is is in normal size:



I would like to see how something like this would look as a wallpaper. I would require 1440x990, and for the striping pattern to resemble either the LSU helmet (yellow, purple, white, purple, yellow), or pants (yellow, purple, yellow, white, yellow, purple, yellow).

I would appreciate it.
