I hope that's not you. If it is, this will not end well.

You're wanting a photo of yourself on a business card? What line of work are you in?

I KNEW IT!!!!!!

JK, but really, I know most in the industry do it but I would advise against it. It's cheesy, like the small time lawyers with their faces put on everything. I hope you don't take offense but I'm just giving you a professional opinion on the subject (as professional as i can be on a message board, lol).

It depends on where you are printing your cards. The printer (as in person, not machine) should be able to tell you what resolution you will need for a clear print, either in DPI or pixel resolution. It also makes a difference what type of stock you wish to print on and ink type.

You will not need PS to resize a photo.

if your image quality is bad to begin with, there is no way to improve it. You must start with a high resolution image.

There is no filter in photoshop that enhances quality.

Don't listen to these guys teasing you about your picture. We would be happy to help you. Put it back up and let us see what we can do!

Yes, let us have a shot at it. It's free!

Also, to do a better job, post a pic of your gf (a quality image) so that we can use as a basis for getting the pixels right. Yeah, that's the ticket... pixels need a good basis.
