Unsolicited advice: I'd redo the website first. If you don't know HTML, I'd use a template.
Check out this company:
SquareSpace
Clean, sharp designs. I'd take a high quality photo of one her best-looking pastery to use as the cover image.
Then I'd design a very simple logo. Something that looks good in print for business cards, ads, etc. Of the images you posted, I prefer "The Perfect Ending." For logos, in my opinion, the best looking images are solid colors, understated, iconic. Think Nike.
Or even design that later. If you need a placeholder, use Inkscape to edit a font for the K&R.
Good luck. Hope your girlfriend appreciates the effort you work you have put into this gift.

I agree with Tim. You need sharper pictures for the site if you want to sell stuff. Make the cakes look good.

Is she setting up shop anywhere, or is she baking cakes from home?

A really good website to check out if you want to make her site look professional without spending too much time on it is Template Monster
Here is an example of one of the templates they sell for under $100 Bakery Template

yeah that's not bad, I like the idea of using a pre-fab template. I already have hosting so I need to see if I can use this or would I have to switch hosting service.

It's responsive, so it will translate to a mobile device better than your current website.
