I'm having trouble saving a gif for the web

I know how to do it. I am getting an error when I go to save it for the web. I am having technical issues with my computer/ps.

"Could not complete this operation. An unknown error has occurred."
I know it is not too big. I have deleted the default "save to web" setting file in the app data like others have per googling. It didn't change anything.
