I was trying to move an object from a gif file to a jpg file and it wouldn't move in CS3.
How do yall convert a gif to a jpg file? (or any file that can be moved)

When i use gimp it breaks it down into frames and i can select anything from the frames and copy it to somewhere else. I dunno about CS3
