My opinion, leave the chrome grill, paint the emblem white, and if you do tint the taillights, dont go crazy and just make them black. Put one or 2 coats and do the headlights to match. And clear coat so they have a shine, not all dull.

Remove the badges from the tailgate?

I'm not going super dark with the taillights or 3rd brake light. I'm going to pull the flex fuel logo off the tailgate and get the gmc logo on the tailgate painted to match the front. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with the front lights. I'm not big on the front lights being blacked out I don't think. I haven't seen pics of many that look good.
