I realized that I wouldn't have been comfortable with the qb that fell to me in the 2nd. Reddman, Rick, El Tigre, Goodfellas, and Clams all need a qb and all pick before me. I didn't want to take Cutler or McNabb #1. I think that Brady and Edwards will outscore either McNabb, Shaub, or Cutler and Moss. I think Arizona will come back to earth and Lienart will end the season as the starter, so warner was not an option for me.

that makes sense.
i thought about moving up higher, but couldn't justify taking a QB much higher than #5 overall based on some of the WR/RB/TE talent that is available. If 1 of 3 position guys i am eyeing falls to me i will roll the dice with a QB later in the draft. If not, i will prob go QB.

Yeah, there were a couple of guys who need a qb that pick twice before my 2nd pick. I would have been willing to start the season with either McNabb, Shaub, or Cutler, but they would have been gone by the time I pick in the 2nd.
I think Hasselbeck and Cassel are both capable of having really good seasons but didn't want to chance it. Brady and Brees are far and away the two best fantasy qb's imo and our league rewards the shite out of qb's, so for me the pick swap was worth it.
