He offered me one that was even more enticing for the 5
I ran a mock on my program and by the time my first pick got there I would have had SCRAPS available to me.
I'd do that if the 2nd pick was actually a 2nd round pick....but its really a 6th round pick.
And you are loading up on 8th and 9th round picks.
Just not worth it.

I just took a similar offer.
I realized what made ricks pick so unbearable was miving 22 picks back for my first pick
With Tigres I am only moving 10 picks back
There is only one player I REALLY want in the first round and I know he wont be there at 5.

Rick wins that trade in my opinion - it gets slim after the 1st round. I came to that conclusion without any computer modeling.

I still don't understand this. It's not always about "winning" or "losing" a trade. If the move helps rondo, then he wins. If the move helps rick, then he wins too. There isn't always one winner and one loser in a trade.
