i thought u meant u were keeping VMart to play 1B thus not wanting to take on Bay.

I think that would be stupid, but if you are going to play him at C thats a different story.

No...just saying that on draft day if the best 1B available is Adam Laroche, I dont have to reach for him and let the the draft come to me and take a C or 1B later.

I just dont want to scramble to fill a spot on the draft.

I did that in tdbbl this year and it sucks.

2 years in a row actually in tdbbl I have been forced to take a PG with my first pick.

Well...I know you are a saavy owner Marle.

And if you want to trade me Bay for Martinez, I know its not a good deal for me.

Also, I have tons of early picks.

I just feel having Martinez on my team frees me up to draft the best players available....rather than Bay who is good, but in the deepest of all positions.

I have two good OF in Beltran and McCutcheon.

no man, im just trying to shake my roster up a little. I was trying to trade Bay earlier this offseason when it looked like he was staying in BOS.

that would be a good deal for u, but its your team.

with Reyes and possibly Wright getting on base ahead of him, he should drive in a lot of runs. And his OPS is always high. .900 career. Like i said, no one on your team is a career OPS near that.

i just happened to look at ur roster and saw Vmart, so i thought i'd offer. He used to be mine and i kind of miss him :(

I understand what you are saying.

As I stand now, I am going to need to hope I can compete in SB's, RBI, and Runs....because my current team has no hope in HRs or OPS.

My current keepers as of right now:

Jeter
Cano
VMart
M Young
McCutcheon
Beltran
Strasburg
Hanson
Webb
Wade Davis
E Santana
Fuentes

I may keep Andrus, Wallace, or Gutierraz over Fuentes.

Will....where did you go hoss?

mine we ok, Reynold's big year helped a lot.

but mainly i targeted guys with good OPS, they tend to be pretty good in all categories

i only have 3 really big bats(Howard, Reynolds and Pena), and thats if Reynolds duplicates his breakout year.

then guys like Carlos Lee and Bay who are great complimentary guys who hit HR, drive in runs, and have good OPS
