I'm having a difficult time tweaking the hitting program to accurately reflect what I want. I want SB's to matter, but not as much as the other categories. Gotta find a good representation.

How does my team look on your program?
Posted on 3/3/10 at 11:08 am to rondo
Pretty good, actually.
SP Ranks:
Sabathia-11
Hanson-15
Davis-61
I think Davis will be better than what CBS thinks though, so don't read too much into the 61 ranking.

Either, V-Mart, and Morales come in at 23, 24, 25 in my overall hitter rankings so far, but I don't like the way its set up right now. SBs aren't a factor as it stands now, so it's not entirely accurate.

shite, 61 is a lot better than I have seen most other places.
If he's winds up a top 50 SP then I will jump for joy.

I know...like I said, after keepers are set I will see what is availble in the draft and determine my desire to move a top flight 2B.

I've got 5 hitters in the top 44.
It's skewed though. With no emphasis at all on SB's, Jacoby Ellsbury is ranked 191.

Again, based on CBS rankings, with no emphasis on SBs. It's not a finished product, in terms of hitters. I think I'm finished with the SP formula though.

McCutchen and Rios gonna shoot up da rankings when SBs are taken into account.
Posted on 3/3/10 at 11:24 am to reddman
Boo has the top two hitters, then doesn't have another one ranked until #88.

I just need to figure out how much I want them weighted in the formula. Maybe half as much as the other categories?

yeah...he is like the Dolly Parton of the league.
One reason I knew he would take Russell Martin in a trade.
