Curry wasn't as highly regarded as Rubio though. A team like Les or Will could have snagged him up early, so taking him where he did wasn't a bad move.

I feel like thy were equally high regarded, it was just that players like curry, wall etc set a precedent for some young pg/sg to succeed right away. Everyone else has noticed and jumped on board.
