this is a great article that pretty much covers both sides of our simmons conversation. seems to lean towards you guys' point that simmons could be special enough and philly being the right set up for him.

He's fricking terrible on defense. But he still averaged like 15 & 7 as a rookie. Potential is there, He can be a Kanter type for someone.

I like D-lo. Matt does too. I though at the time you should have picked CJ but you got him with your next pick, so I had no issues. You won the lotto with Giannis. 21 passing him up was shocking but I do love some KAT too. Giannis could end up the GOAT fantasy player, especially when he adds a 3 point shot. It's gonna happen.

i think everyone else thinks that Simmons is going to be special, i thought he was a reach.
players and their values and who's going to be worth more or less is almost all of the fun for me. it's a worthless stock market that only costs our league dues to play.
the prognostication game is my favorite part of fantasy.
matt thinks i'm just trying to overinflate my players for valuation purposes, but i swear it's more innocent than that. i just really like who i pick as players. i get to be a fan of more than one team, one player. i watched the blazers the other night. and i was like CMOOONNNN MEYERS LEONARD

someone was just writing an article about how analytics speaking giannis shouldn't add a 3 point shot because it'll limit his efficiency because he shoots something like 81% in the restricted area this year. i was like, well maybe hitting 1 or 2 a game wouldn't hurt.

Still don't get constantly pimping a pick who is performing a over a round later than is draft spot.
It's not like he's in the Dipo, Capela, Vuc group who are bringing tons of value to their draft slot.

Dipo is a great one. capela is fine. Vuc is... strange. i don't know what to make of this orlando team at all.
if dlo hadn't tweaked an ankle he'd even be higher on the rater. he's had to play two half games. but go look at his per minute numbers bud.
i think my point is that by the end of the year, you guys are going to agree with me that dlo is one of the ten best young dynasty players to own.
have you been watching him? dude is really really special.
