Here are the last 2 NBA players to record a double-double in each of their first 4 games of their career:

We FAP'n to Simmons going 17 and 10.

Shaq's 1st 4 games: 25 ppg, 17 rpg, 3.5 bpg, 57% FG%

Oh.My.Gawd.

ETA- Now I'm basketball referencing in. He had a 46/21 game as a 20 year old rookie

He isn't on Shaq's level, IJS the dude is special. He is going to be great.

That was all about the greatness that was Shaq, not a knock on Ben.

I forget how good some of these dudes were until I go back and look at the stats.

I think Shaq has somehow become underrated. I've posted this multiple times but this was his game log from the 2000 finals:

Game 1: 43/19
Game 2: 40/24
Game 3: 33/13
Game 4: 36/21
Game 5: 35/11
Game 6: 41/12

i mean, the funny thing is that you guys seem to think i'm not a fan.

i love ben simmons. i root for him. i cheer for him. i just think that he's most likely an all star and not a future potential superduperstar. i don't see him being first team all nba at any point in his career. i don't see him being the best player on a championship team.

but that's okay. multi time all star isn't anything to sneeze at.

We just disagree with you blasting the pick. Especially in favor of Porzingas (look at his like from last night )

But hey, you also said Blake was the biggest reach in the 2nd rd. And dude is avg'n 27/10/4/2.7/1/1/51%/81%.

i stand by it. we'll see if simmons shoots 70% from the ft line.

Embiid was drafted in the 2nd round, too. He ain't playing 70.

also a risky proposition. embiid might be worth it because he's young. Big E said himself that he was gambling on that pick.
