My proposal.
7 playoff teams get paid out the 1400
We take the current standings:
7th place: $100 (money back)
6: $125
5: $150
4: $200
3: $225
2: $275
1: $325
That's my thinking.

If we wanted to award Reg season Champ.
WE COULD do this:
Frat- $175
1st - 250
2nd - 225
3rd - 200
4th - 175
5th - 150
6th - 125
7th - 100

If this was a season long league I think that’d be just about right. I don’t think anyone that traded players and wasn’t trying should get paid out. You and Boom traded your picks and made win now moves, I think that should be the cutoff.
Frat also needs the extra 100 for finishing 1st

Hitting 45 games is a prerequisite for making the playoffs now? Pretty sure that is the max games, not the min.

7 teams make the playoffs in this league. This situation sucks, but you don't get to decide that a team that qualified for the playoffs is automatically eliminated without playing the games.

It could also show that I own players who might get injured from time to time.

I’m saying the teams decided that when they were punting the year. There’s a giant gap between in between 3rd and 4th in the standings and my payout is the only one that reflects that.

Agreed on all fronts there, Matty
Everything agreed on in previous seasons, that’s out the window to me. The extra bonus for winning regular season, don’t care about it.
Now, Fratty absolutely should be rewarded for his season and being in first place. We just have to decide as a league what that is.
If you’re in the top 7, that means you’re in and you would have had a chance. You should be compensated for that.
That’s why started at $100 for 7th and had small escalations from there.

You’re in second and would receive $50 less than Frat under my proposal

Agreed all 7 in here should at least get 100 back. All strong winning records and had competitive teams.
Top 3 teams all one over 100 games and had best odds to place, so payouts should reflect that. And frat should get rewarded for 1st place.
It's almost like we have to shift to a roto type payout, with ensuring top 7 get money.

Fair enough. I'm not denying that there is a gap from the bottom playoff teams and the top. I just don't agree with drawing the line because it appeared like the 5th place team was trying. I 6-1-1'd Boom in week 18 and was only 1.5 out of 5th and 4.5 out of 4th. I have a problem with 5th place and 1.5 game difference getting their money back based on the fact that they traded a first-round pick.
