Getting some embarrassing offers. Don't send me your mid tier players and ask for Kennard and Carter as well.

I am finishing up with rankings. Before I begin, I ranked all 14 on this year, then I ranked them based on the future (3 seasons from now) and the final ranking was their overall dynasty ranking. I considered youth, tradeable assets, potential to contend and rebuild, etc. I'll reveal 1 or 2 at a time.

14.) Papps – The guy won TDBBL so he knows how to win, but this team needs a new look. Best player is Kemba, a top 30 guy. Best prospect is Jordan Bell (#57 Dynasty rankings). Other than that, the roster consists of mainly journeymen. That said, there have been worse rosters in this league (owned by me). I don’t think Papps will be a weekly doormat, but the rebuild likely starts this year. Keep your first round pick!

13.) Knat – 2 years ago Knat had the team to beat. It got old fast. Knat has already taken steps to make the roster younger. With Cousins hurt, Kanter is probably his best current player (yikes) but Dunn, Richardson, Saric, and Kuzma are lower top 50 rebuild guys. This team seems far away but Knat has a few tradable assets that he can use to get younger and continue the rebuild.
12.) Boom – So I will say this about Boom, he’s a good owner. His team is actually set up to win reb, fg%, blocks and assists most weeks. He will be competitive. That said, this is an aging team. Lowry and Conley are getting old. Same with Dwight. Best young asset is Steven Adams (#54 dynasty). With a top 3 fantasy player on the squad, Boom has pieces to move for better long term options and while he should be competitive, this team doesn’t look like a contender this year.

11.) OG – Usually in the playoff mix, OG some decent vets to work with (Derozen, Griffin, Vucevic, and Gordon). All are top 50 types. Bagley (#39) is the only young player with much promise. This team will compete weekly but if the season starts going south, this looks like a prime rebuild candidate and fortunately there are some tradable assets and ways to get younger.
10.) Jumpy – Very OG-like team. Advantage jumpy for this season because he has a lot of depth on the bench. This looks like a fringe playoff team this year. Milsap and Gasol are the best players on the roster. The strength of the team is the depth. Wiggins is the highest rated prospect (#35) but no one else is in the top 50. Seems like one more playoff type season for jumpy before the inevitable rebuild. Like OG he has the pieces.
9.) Matty V – Matt’s team is 9th in my rankings but is in solid shape. He has a playoff contender now, and he has some of the better young prospects. CP3 and Love are solid vets. George and Wall still have several good years left. Russell and Ayton are #19 and #22 on the dynasty list. Randle and Rozier are not future stars but they are and will be good role players. Cedi could be the wild card. I see a team poised to contend for the playoffs now with the ability to reload in the process.

8.) Toula – Since day 1 Toula has been a threat to win it all. This team has a ton of balance led by Russ, who fills up the stat sheet in big ways. CJ is a top 20 player. The top 10 players are up there with the best of them. Several players like Whiteside, Lou Williams, Batum and James Johnson can make this team go from good to really good, but we don’t know what to expect. Porter Jr is the best prospect but due to back questions he ranks #61. I suspect a sneaky move or 2 from this team coming soon.
7.) PCT – It’s been a long road, but there’s finally light at the end of the tunnel. This team was trash the last two years. Many times I wanted to get some vets and enjoy winning, but the biggest “trader” this side of jumpstreet stuck with the plan. Mitchell and Kyrie are the “stars” of the team, ranking #7 and #11 in the dynasty rankings. Tatum, Lauri, DSJ, and Fultz give this group 6 top 25 dynasty players, most of any team. 5 other players rank in the top 60 and several more in the top 100. There is a potential stud at every position, but the key is potential. Probably another year away from being a real contender but the future is bright.
6.) Frat – The red-headed step child of the chat pack!! While Frat isn’t on the level of Tom and MWG yet, he’s damn close. Dynasty rankings have Embiid the #3 and Booker the #8 rebuild targets. Lonzo, Ingram and Beal are all in the top 30. I don’t like the Lakers upside as much as the dynasty rankings do, but there’s no denying their potential. Shai, Fox, and Bamba have great upside and I really think Hart will be a solid role player. Fournier is hiding out on the bench. This is a well put together team with loads of potential now and in the future.

5.) None – So None wins “team future” because he has the top dog, Giannis along with many other future studs. Luka is a top 10 dynasty asset. Murray, Harris, Collins, and Allen are all top 30 prospects and Trey Young is right behind them. This team is lacking in big men but you cannot deny the fire power at the guard positions. Depending on how None plays his cards, this team could make a leap similar to CWill did last year, but I suspect one more year outside the playoffs before None starts his string of playoff appearances.
4.) Tom – The Champ! Seems a little low, but at this point of the rankings the teams are very good. The top 4 are a cut above the rest IMO. His team starts with KD and Lillard. Both are studs and will be for the next 5 years. Gobert has top fantasy C potential. Bledsoe and Morris are solid role players. Tom has actually done a good job getting young talent while maintaining a ship contender. Sexton and Mitch Robinson could be very good players. Buddy and Prince could be great glue guys. Still, the roster is not as deep as the one that won the ship last year and I am thinking there could be a slight regression. The Chat Pack may have a new king…stay tuned!

3.) Florida - This was the most disappointing team last year. Big Gyne left ya a championship roster, but there were also some rough spots. Hayward was hurt, Zingas later in the year, and Turner regressed. Even with Porzingas out I am predicting a better season for the TDBBL former champ. You need another guard, but the squad is filled with versatile guys like Jrue, Hayward, and Draymond. Klay will win you 3’s most weeks and Harris is the man for the Clippers. Turner, Staps and Wendell Carter Jr make up maybe the best young trio in the league. The bench is solid too. Contender for sure.

2. Cwill – Maybe the best to do it. Will’s baseball dynasty really opened my eyes years ago, and I will be honest, it inspired me to blow my team up in this league and try to do it right. He was the doormat our first 2 years. Now, he has the best player in the world (Lebron), 3 top 10 dynasty players (#1Towns, #6 Jokic and #10 Dipo) and tons of athletic wings (Middleton, Brown, Porter, Jackson, Bridges). I would say at some point Will needs to trade one of those guys for a PG but other than that, this roster is so well put together. Hard to believe someone else has a better team, but….

1.) MWG – This is how you do it. Traded a grip to get Simmons. We all thought he was nuts. Over time, he has collected the best group of studs in the league. Davis could be the top fantasy player this year. Curry and Kawhi are in the top 7. Simmons and Davis are #4 and #5 in dynasty and Aaron Gordon and JJJ are #18 and #22. Zach Lavine should be better this year. Dragic could be his 10th best player! Will may have him beat on depth, but it doesn’t matter. This is the team I would bet on to win it all this year. Chat pack running shite!
