VooDoo offered me the same duo for TY Hilton. Now THAT was actually fair, value-wise but I was just too happy with my current roster.
Not sure why you would agree to give that pair up for John Brown, who is a slight downgrade from Diggs imo.
And the all important PLAYOFF schedule is not favorable for John Brown either:
Ravens
Steelers
Pats

Lol Diggs has been terrible and he has one crazy squeaky wheel week.
Look at Buffalo’s schedule. Brown will outscore Diggs easily the rest of the way. Hyde was never going to start a single week for me. I made that offer to five teams and got rejected by all but now a team accepts it for a lesser WR and it’s vetoable??

Brown isn’t a downgrade from Diggs.
Diggs put up 5, 9, 4, 15, and 7 before last week.
Brown put up 25, 14, 9, 11, and 12 has already had his bye, and has MIA, PHI, WAS, CLE, and MIA again as his next opponents.

Sorry that last post was pissed lol.
Seriously, I would have loved to do the trade for one of the other receivers I offered but no one took it. JB was last on my list but I still like the deal for my team.
My RBs are stacked and WRs SUCK. Why wouldn’t I make a 2 for 1 to help improve that position while I still have a shot at this thing?

You might be right here but I believe the perceived value is that Diggs is more valuable. Im assuming you could have swapped them straight up and kept Hyde.

Sorry baw I haven’t been on the thread and someone from the Sleeper league told me to go check it out and I saw multiple posts so I had to come out strong and defend my position
Seriously though, I get the perceived value but that’s based on preseason expectations. Diggs has been really bad and seems like a head case about to pop off like AB.
I just need a steady presence and solid floor to pair with Fitz and let the rest of my team try to hit ceilings to get me Ws.
Maybe I could have pulled the 1 for 1 but I only think a non JB owner would say that because if you own JB you know his value and he’s been a solid start every single week with a cake of a schedule the next two months and no bye week.
I am happy that this stirred up some action on the board though, this league has been radio silent for months
Good luck the rest of the way gents. Me and JB (and my Saints D that I got with the extra roster spot ;) will see yall in the playoffs to defend my title

I think JB scores more than either of the two I gave up. I think I upgraded my WR2 spot without losing anything as Hyde was my RB4 in a one flex spot league.
Plus got to add Saints D without dropping anyone.
Obviously if the injury bug hits my backs I’m screwed, but I’m in must win now mode. I feel like JB has WR1/2 potential over the next five weeks at least.
That’s why I made the trade.
Again, he was my fifth choice, but everyone else turned down the deal, so clearly it isn’t like I gave up some stud pair that everyone loves.
