Marshall vs Dallas on Thursday

Hopkins @ Jacksonville

12 man PPR.
My other WRs are A Brown and J Gordon so I need flex help. Who would you start?

Hopkins against a weak JAX secondary. Unless JAX goes all crazy again in the 2nd half and sacks/FR Fitz like madmen.

Is Marshall still a "stud" this year?

Not really. I think I saw last week that he is on pace to finish with about 800 yards and 11 td's. That's a pretty good wr3 with high upside.

Although it is worth keeping in mind that he has struggled with injury most of the season.

I hate to ever sit Marshall, but I would start Hopkins after his awesome game last week and he has a very favorable matchup against the Jaguars.

He is a WR2. He is the WR #18 in PPR.

Hopkins is as frustrating as they come. Personally I am in WR nightmare (although I guess it's a good thing) or here.

Last week I sit Alshon Jeffrey and Nuk Hopkins in favor of Emmanuel Sanders, Mike Evans, and Josh Gordon.

It's like this every week. It's so damn annoying, and I never seem to get it right !

I've got the same dilemma and I'm going with Hopkins. My gut is Marshall will have a dud this week, but I've been wrong more than right with my WRs this year.

Hopkins has been more consistent in that ~15 point range

Marshall has 3 25+ point games and the rest are pretty underwhelming

You could take the points with Hopkins or swing for the fences with Marshall

Yeah, I should have adjusted it for a more typical scoring league. In my standard 10 team with 3 starting wr's, that is a high upside 3 due to his volatile scoring.

Marshall has scored 48% of his total points in 3 games

He has games of

1.6
9.9
7.4
10.8
6.5
6.2
10.2

He has killed people this season.

His total numbers may say he's a WR2, but he is not based on his production week to week. And this is a guy who was a high pick.

Right... So I'm thinking go with Hipkins for "guarantee" 10-15...

Also, Hopkins had of his lesser games with Mallett in there. He is better with Fitzpatrick. Outside of a complete dud in week 6 against Indy, Hopkins has a minimum of 11.2 PPR in every week with Fitzpatrick at the helm.

The three games around 10 do not kill you. Hopkins has four of those games (although two of them came in Mallett's two starts).

The difference is that Marshall has had four duds and Hopkins has had one. I would roll Hopkins, but I would also feel pretty decent with either option.

Sure it does. All of those games kill you. Marshall was drafted as a top 3-4 WR and teams are depending on his production.

I own Marshall and havent felt decent starting him all season. He has killed me. If I didnt have Maclin I would not have made the playoffs
