bunch of idiots screaming veto.
Trade is Montee Ball for Tony Romo

My team: His team:
QB Vick QB Rodgers
RB Foster RB Rice
RB Morris RB SJax
WR Marshall WR A Brown
WR Bowe WR T Smith
Flex Gore Flex Britt
Bn Bradshaw Bn LeVeon Bell
Bn T. Austin Bn Romo
Bn Ball Bn V Brown
Bn Gordon Bn Hartline
Bn Golden Tate Bn Jaquizz

3 player keeper league. drafted Ball in the 5th and the other team took Romo as bait to screw me out of a qb since I was waiting. No one will trade for romo other than me so the deal was simple. Now the rest of the league is scared of my squad and crying veto.

Sorry man, it's a horrible trade. I'm sure people in my league would be up in arms about it too.

Montee Ball is in a shitty situation and may never start 1 game this season.

Romo, whether you love or hate him will start every game this season and be a good/great scorer.

In no way do these players equal fair value.

both guys on our bench. its a keeper league, do you not see how that has value. in a 12 person league he wasnt going to get shite for romo unless one of the other 11 qbs go down. had this trade been made last year for trich/dmart im sure people would have cried as well

doesnt fn matter who likes it or not! doesnt fn matter if it makes your team better than everyone elses. it doesnt fn matter if someone gets trade raped.

AS LONG AS NOT COLLUSION

The trade is horrible, but at the same time the other guy seems to be putting alot of stock in the keeper aspect of the league. If both teams agreed, I wouldn't veto simply because of stupidity

im shocked you people dont realize how we did what a fricking trade is supposed to do. i improved my qb and he built rb depth. he was getting nothing for romo and granted it may have been smart to let those 20 pts a week waste away on his bench rather than put them in a competitors lineup but he went with building depth in a position of need.

not to mention in an average redraft ball was picked 4 rounds prior to romo

Understood.

I do. I drafted Ball in 2 leagues this year. But after watching last night, I'm not too excited about his prospects with Moreno starting and playing a lot. RBBC with 3 backs sucks. I'm sure the rest of the guys in your league feel the same way. This trade before last night might have worked better.

Brees, Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Ryan, Newton, Stafford - that's 7 QB's that for sure got drafted before Romo. Maybe RG3 and Cap too. Anyway, there is value for Romo if someone doesn't have the first 7 guys I listed.

I don't know "wtf" that has to do with anything. I guess you had to be there. Anyway, I just gave you an honest opinion. I'm not in your league, so I don't really care. But it is a shitty trade.

The guy doesn't need Romo. Regardless of the situation in Denver right now, he needs Ball. After his top 2, he has a hurt Le'Veon Bell and Quizz Rodgers who is his handcuff, so that isn't really depth. Of course Romo will score more, but the trade clearly helps both teams, so its a bitch move to veto. I can't stand people like that who bitch because they wouldn't do the trade. Manage your own fricking team. If it's not collusion, then shut up.

You're getting a little too angry here with people who are offering an opinion. You improved, he did not.

Bingo. He helped you. Your league doesn't like it. They don't want to lose

Ball shouldn't be going 4 rounds higher than Romo. If he did, people put a lot of faith in someone who has been behind Hillman. And now after seeing Moreno start and get the entire first half...

Oh I hear you. I always get trades blocked in my league

I'm just offering an opinion on what people are likely thinking in his league.

ugh do you not remember the whole wait for qb fad??
romo was the last qb off the board is most drafts. hell i got romo in the 7th in one league and probably would have in this one as well

trade also went through prior to last nights game. i posted in anticipation of ball's 2 tds tonight he is on the block. he came back with romo for ball, trade was done before the half

Yes, you're the greatest. I don't know you or your league. I offered an opinion on why your league might be bitching since you asked for it. If you just want people to agree with you, put it in your title next to the snail trail you left on the way in.

Dude, I'm not in your league. My league didn't have a "wait for QB fad"

Romo went in the 8th round which is where I drafted Ball in my league. Different leagues have different scoring systems, etc.

I wouldn't veto your trade. I think it's a shitty trade, but as long as there isn't collusion, I wouldn't veto it. I simply stated on opinion on the trade itself and tried to offer you some insight as to why they're bitching.

Hell, Romo went in the 7th in my 12 man, and in my 10 man I think he lasted till the 12th round. Ball was generally going around 80ish at the latest in all the drafts I've seen, easily above Romo.

Ball clearly has the most upside of all the Denver backs long term, even though i wouldn't touch any of them right now.

That kind of trade vetoing would just make me not play with the wussy douches anymore, it's absurd.
