Beast mode:? Could this be his year?

I had him last year and he gave me decent points. nothing eye poping thou. would be a good pick up for when your main guys are bye week.

it's almost like Belichick loves to keep him in his dog house. he could be a beast year in and out, but he saves him for the playoffs

been eyeballin him, I just don't get how NE doesn't have a legit RB2 producer on an offense which can move the ball.

Bought the SI mag last weekend along with Sporting News. Can't remember which one it was, but one of them was saying "STAY AWAY" from Maroney. The Pats use the committee approach in a much more serious manner than most teams. You could have Maroney get 100 yards one week, then the next he gets 3 yards and fumbles once and Faulk has 2 TDs on the ground, plus 50+ yards receiving and even throws a TD to Welker. The next week Faulk is out for personal reasons, Maroney is benched at the last minute for being late for the team bus and Sammy Morris has more rushing yards that all NFL RBs.
NE RBs are just not worth it as starters. Sure, you can get lucky with them for a bye week fill in, but I'm not sure what you think has changed that will make this year any different that the last however many.

You could say that for 24 NFL Teams.

I think that's a slight exaggeration. I think at least half the teams have RBs worth starting. Very few teams have trios or quartets like the Pats who can switch out entirely from game to game.

NE loves to run the football inside the 5, but the question is who do they give the ball to?
