Before this week I had decided to hold on to Connor as the bell owner in my league wouldn’t trade Sony Michel for him. Basically my hope is that bell is traded or doesn’t really play much and I can roll with connor the rest of the season.
Is this dumb or should I try and get Phillip Lindsay or Adrian Peterson from the bell owner? He may be more inclined to trade one of those.
For perspective these are my RBs as of now:
Gurley
Connor
Ingram
Gore
Nyhiem Hines

What's your record? I'm big on banking wins when you can. Riding Connor for another two weeks, then trying to trade him to the Bell owner for a flex piece may not be a bad idea.
At worst Connor becomes an incredibly high upside bench stash for you.

Hard to say. I have Conner and the only thing the Bell owner has that I'd want/need is Mahomes and Gronk and I know he isn't getting rid of either. My hope is the same as yours. A Bell trade is ideal. If he stays then how much does he really play if he doesn't want to risk injury. I can only start two RBs and my others are Kamara, Hyde, Drake, Lindsay, and Morris. If Conner fizzles out then so be it.

He’s reporting to the team before the trade deadline for a reason. If not, he would’ve just waited until wk10 to meet the terms of the franchise contract. There’s no certainty but i’m (a Conner owner) betting that bell doesn’t take another snap in a Stealers uni.

I traded Connor for Antonio Brown 2 weeks ago when the talk was the Steelers were going to trade Bell. The other team was 0-3 and needed an RB.
For you’re situation I would agree with the others who said to keep him. Have him in your line up till the bye and then you never know what will happen. If you can trade for a decent option to the Bell owner that would be good otherwise he’s an injury away from RB1 status again.

I'd want the Antonio Brown side of that trade in any format.

I think they trade him. Probably a 3rd rd draft pick, it’s better than nothing which is what they’ll get for him after this year.

As a Conner owner who is thin at the RB position I am so hopeful this happens. Strange situation for sure
