Should have been Kyle blanks.

I was going to suggest this, but I was afraid he actually may have been on someone's radar.

He needs some crappy American League team to Chris Carter him. Just stick him in the lineup everyday and see what he can do. The Twinkies would have been an interesting landing spot for him.

We need to determine what the rules are for placing someone on the DL. I feel like the rule should be that if you had your guy on the DL when the previous season ended, then he can remain there during the offseason. But, since this is the first year, we need to establish a rule for this offseason.

I'm thinking that if your player is listed on your injury report on the home screen, then he's eligible to be placed on the DL.

I would say they can only go on the DL when officially designated by their team or the MLB.

Those designations don't happen until opening day.

If a minor leaguer is on the DL does he stay in the minor league spot or do we move him to the DL slots?

Minor leaguers can be placed on the DL as well.

I just think it would be unfair to be able to DL someone during the offseason and then the guy ends up playing opening day. How do you distinguish the length of the injury without the true designation being put on that player?

I have 2 guys recovering from TJ too.

So we can mythically make up DL designations but we can't add a player to the FA pool that is a FA?

We know he is gonna play this season the same way we know some guys are going to end up on the DL to start

You wanted to do that in the middle of the draft. Apples and oranges, dude.
