COL hasn’t even got into their home schedule yet, Blackmon is already pacing 90/20/90. Wasn’t he just part of the return for goldy?

I was really high on Bohm going into the draft and 3B has been my weak spot fora while. IDK if he would have even traded Franco. I would rather have Bohm, Mesa, and a 1st instead of 1 player. I also already have 2 SS in Jazz and possibly Lux.

dude was startin jarrod frickin dyson in the OF and is interested in winning it appears. 4 weeks into the season, i aint taking two dime a dozen prospects (prob his 4th/5th best prospects at that) and low 1st rd pick for a guy i can pencil in for 100/20/350/500..

No one (I would hope) would give up the #1 prospect, that looks like a phenom, for a 32 yr old good OF.

Blackmon is very good in the grand scheme of things and an excellent piece for a contender. He’s never injured, plays half his games in coors and doesn’t leave the lineup. His hit tool will play even as he ages, so 32 isn’t a huge deal. Not to mention he’s been on fire as the weather warms and he gets more games at coors. He’s a big trade chip you gotta trust me here

What am I missing here? Did Chat reject trades that were better than what he was offered from others? If not, then I don't see what all the fuss is about. A good six daylight hours went by from when Chat put Blackmon on the block to when he actually moved him. Seems to me that everyone had an opportunity to make a decent offer or at least get a good dialogue started. Swams actually gave up more than I would have for him, but he is also in a position to win this year, so take that for what it's worth.
