I believe we should have 6 adds/drops starting at first pitch of yesterday's games

Also 55 innings pitched minimum for the matchup

We are still required to have 65 IP as well.

I get the feeling this new committee kind of sucks balls compared to the last one who was johnny on the spot.

Wisey you’re gonna have to be the reddfigg of this committee seeing as ya got LE, cwill and DJ to work with here. They’re more of the long play kinda guys whereas you and swam may have to streamline the immediate stuff

I don't really think we'll get any push back on the 6 max add/drops beginning at first pitch of first game from yesterday -- I just don't know how we should enforce it.

Looking at last year's first-week matchup, I can't identify what was the minimum for IP, but it wasn't 65.

11 days beginning Thursday for the opening matchup. Just prorate the typical 35 over a 7-day matchup and we get 55.

So 6 adds and 55 IP minimum. That's where I'm at.

I checked the thread last year and we started 6 add drops on opening day, which was monitored manually. I’d say set it back to unlimited and we monitor it from today or just make it 7 since we missed a day

DJ added like 12 people last year in the first period it looks like

IP stayed 35 IP fwiw

Idk the reasoning behind 35 last year. I’d say make it 55 and do the 6 add/drops through next Sunday

I already started Lester yesterday under the thought of 55IP and I’m sure others may have planned out their starts assuming the sand

Where do we view the number of adds/drops so far?

Is the claims currently set going back to the Japan series?

You can see how many you have left on the Team Info page... looks like someone reset it, everyone has claims left.

Yea, that doesnt work for me. These other teams shouldnt get rewarded because certain organizations wait until last minute to put players on the DL. Ive known since last year Polanco was going to be on the DL but the Pirates waited right until last minute to do it.

i think he's saying that other managers were able to add players before him and the first pitch of thursday's game because certain teams added their IL players before the Pirates

To that my response is get over it

My response was if it was 65 last year and there was a reason for it then I’d like to know the reason before changing it. 17/20 teams hit the limit last year, one was Knat. If it was missed as a default setting and there’s no reason for it, change it to 55.

It was reset earlier when I checked. The only transactions that were counted were from opening day and after. So I was down to 3 transactions left while most other people had been reset to 6. Someone has changed it to 12 now though.

Not a whole lot of dialogue going on right now so I’m going to make a decision (I apologize reedd if I’m overstepping my boundaries but I feel it’s getting late and teams need to know)

From 7:05 pm Friday eastern standard time on, each team will be limited to 6 add/drops for its Week 1 fantasy matchup (through the conclusion of Sunday, April 7 games).

Each team will also be required to have a 55 innings pitched minimum to qualify for all pitching categories for the Week 1 period.

Best of luck to all, and hopefully everyone agrees with these decisions
