Speaking of raking, Gleyber is ready to take over in that NYY infield.

With today's Orioles-Red Sox and Cardinals-Cubs games being postponed, that brings the total to 23 in MLB this season, the most before May 1st in the last 15 seasons.

Most MLB Postponements Before May 1 - Last 15 Seasons
2018 23
2014 18

Well the season did start 4 days earlier than usual... but that's not enough to explain the crazy amount of postponements.

There's also only a couple stadiums that went from indoors to outdoor in the last 20 or so years.

Seattle
Minnesota

Only one that went from outdoors to indoors.

No games in Seattle have been postponed.

Seattle didn't really go from indoor to outdoor. They have a retractable roof.

However, unlike other retractable roof stadiums, Safeco Field has what is called a "retractable umbrella". This is because when the roof is closed, the stadium is still open on the sides to the outside weather, so the Mariners can play outdoor baseball even in the rain.
