I admire the win/now approach, but IMO Earl took 3 steps back to make 2 forward.
Lineup: Swapped Sano, Soler, Polanco for Stanton, Gyorko, and Conforto.
Staff: Swapped Gausman, Snell, Giolito for Kershaw, Gray, Taillon, Will Harris.
Prospects gone: Mejia, Happ, Jimenez, Robles and 1.1 this year.

In all seriousness, I figure I take my whoopin' this year, get a top 5 pick next year, and see how my young guys develop. Will then decide to make a run in 2018, or give them one more year to mature and make my run in 2019.

Was telling rondo earlier that I briefly considered trading for a young 3B and grabbing Lewis, but I was eventually able to trade for enough young OFs to satisfy me.
