If I owned this team, I would:
1. Remind everyone that I am the defending champ.
2. Look for a backup SS in case Swanson has early season issues.
His name is Ozzie.
3. Be prepared to move prospects for the playoff run.
Good work, Redd.

#4 Lester Earl
Player Most Likely to Blow up: Michael Fulmer
Player Most Likely to Disappoint: Eduardo Nunez
If I owned this team, I would:
1. Drop Matt Adams and take a flier on a SP for some depth.
2. Hold tight on trading until you see how your shallow staff performs.
3. Keep an eye on prospects to build a farm system.
Synopsis: This is a team built to win now for sure, and it’s not even very old. Matt Carpenter is highly underrated in a league like this due to his ability to get on base so frequently. The power is there with Crush and Krush Davis, not to mention Bryce Harper. It’s a strong lineup that will compete every week. Lester is doing the exact opposite that Gyno is doing when it comes to the staff. He is going with the quality over quantity approach, which worked well for him last year. Cueto, Fulmer, and Hamels lead the bunch, with Finnegan and Strahm as wild cards. Not sure what to expect from Montgomery in the Cubs rotation. I feel like his days there could be limited if he struggles a little and the Cubs make a trade for another arm. Not really likely though. Interesting team that wouldn’t surprise me at all if it held the crown at the end of the year.

No surgery for Price. No PRP. Farrell calls it best case scenario. Down for next 7-10 days
This changes my ranking for him without a doubt.

#3 T&P
Player Most Likely to Blow up: David Dahl
Player Most Likely to Disappoint: Mike Napoli
If I owned this team, I would:
1. Be prepared to find a backup plan for Napoli at 1B.
2. Find a backup 2B (Castro OTB, btw)
3. Find one more SP for depth.
Synopsis: I still can’t figure out how this team got turned around so quickly. Nice job, figs. Anyway, the lineup is strong from top to bottom with the exception of 1B. I could be wrong, but I can’t see Napoli duplicating last year’s numbers. Even if he doesn’t, the offense is strong enough. You know the team is good when all three things I would do involve acquiring depth. The roster is that strong. The staff is not to be fricked with. Bumgarner, Kluber, and Lester will destroy most teams on a weekly basis. The bullpen is strong as hell too, led by Dyson and Diaz. This is just a well-rounded squad that should be taken very seriously. Can’t imagine a scenario where this team misses the playoffs.

#2 MWG
Player Most Likely to Blow up: Carlos Carrasco
Player Most Likely to Disappoint: Domingo Santana
If I owned this team, I would:
1. Step away from the trade offer screen. frick.
2. Look for backup plan at 2B and SS.
3. Don’t be afraid to hold onto a prospect for longer than 24 hours.
Synopsis: If offering a trade were bad for your health, this motherfricker would be dead. While I love the fact that MWG is so active, I feel like it will eventually get the best of him. His team is built to win as it is, and really doesn’t need all that much tinkering, really. If you want to nitpick, he lacks speed (although Rajai Davis is lurking as his only bench bat), and he has no depth to speak of in the infield. If he gets an injury or two at a crucial time, he could be in deep shite. The pitching staff is fapworthy, boasting Carrasco and Verlander. The bullpen is the best in the league without a doubt. Chapman, Betances and Britton are really gonna help those K/9 numbers each week. There’s probably more question marks on this team than #3 T&P, but I think I like this lineup just a tad bit more than theirs. It’s really close though.

#1 Chat
Player Most Likely to Blow up: Tom Murphy
Player Most Likely to Disappoint: Adam Duvall
If I owned this team, I would:
1. Trade McCann if possible when he’s healthy.
2. Acquire a power bat (Adam Jones?) to help boost offense.
3. Move some speed to address other categories like HR and RBI.
Synopsis: It’s not the best offense, and it’s not the best pitching staff. However, I like the makeup of the team overall from category to category. He’s got Longo, Cespedes and Duvall for power, Gordon, Segura, Ellsbury, and Gardner for speed, and Goldschmidt provides power AND speed. It’s a very well rounded lineup. The staff is led by Noah Syndergaard, David Price (whew), and Masahiro Tanaka, but he’s also got nice arms like Danny Salazar and Josh Tomlin behind him. Anything he gets out of his youngsters is lagniappe. Bullpen is solid as well, but not amazing. Chat has proven that he can win this thing, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he did it again.
