Our league is pretty tame when it comes to names. It's an office league and we have a plague here in the office with the names of all the winners since the league began. I'm a partner in a lawfirm. It wouldn't do to have some crass team name associated with my name as the owner. But we have had a couple of good names over the years.

1. OFF! Best part about naming your team off is all the crazy message posts. "You can't beat OFF!" "This week, I really want to get OFF!" "I haven't beaten OFF! in two games." You get the point.

2. Subpoena Envy. Not the most exciting name ever, but went really well with the law-related fantasy league.

One year, one of the guys didn't give me his team name before the draft. So on the draft board, I wrote his team name as TBA (to be announced). He liked it and went with it, then won the league. His name is listed as the owner of TBA, league champs for 2004 or 2005 (can't remember which year.
