You've put together a very interesting team here. Our numbers show it as being below average at all three core positions (QB, RB, and WR). And yet, somehow, we don't hate it. With proper care and feeding throughout the season, this team should be the league favorite or very close to it.
But your margin for error is probably slimmer than that of your fellow contenders. You're going to have to be diligent in your search for help through trades and the waiver wire.
Players we particularly like on this team include Jacquizz Rodgers, Ray Rice, Demaryius Thomas, and Matt Schaub. We have all these guys ranked ahead of where they are typically being drafted.
Bottom line: This team is a virtual lock to go to the playoffs

for a draft that began before August? what's the point?
we've already seen two injuries thus far before Preseason games have even started

You realize we were going to compare who the best drafter was in this mock right?
Posted on 7/31/13 at 10:27 pm to Drew Orleans
So the decision for me not to draft Rob Bironas is going to cost me the chance to call myself "Mock draft champion"?
Posted on 7/31/13 at 10:28 pm to MrWiseGuy
A small amount of money was going to be involved...
Oh well, just letting you know.

if we only did starters then that would hamstring the dudes who drafted a DEF in the 8-12th
Ifs toast...then only thing that can be done is plug in everyone's draft, then let waiver rules apply.
I drop Tate or dwill or sanders...grab another DEF and another Kicker
everybody, uses waivers till they have 2te,2qb,2def,2K,3wr,3rb,1rb/wr
then we lock....but honestly, the way this has gone so far with cooperation, I just don't see how you can trust everybody to do what needs to be done.
ETA: we can use waivers and make the roster 16 or 17 too just so people can keep who they wanted and ad def/k....since it doesn't really matter who FAs are

Why is optimal lineup, week to week, a bad idea?
If you didn't draft a backup TE, then when your TE is one BYE you just don't get points from that position for that week.

missing a k or def one week can be 30 points
missing a k or def for an entire season is like 350

They should have thought about that before not drafting a K or Def

but it's like saying, look at your 5 cards....we are playing 7 card stud, ready to ante up?
