I don't think it went that bad.
One appeal is its a hell of a lot easier to schedule than a live draft. Getting 12 of us together at one time is damn near impossible, especially since we're all in multiple leagues

Understandable. But having to comprimise a whole weeks' worth of scheduling(and hours) for a draft was extremely counterproductive for me personally.

I don't have kids but am fairly busy with school and work. Smartphone makes it negligible for me; I get a text and it takes me 2 min to make a pick.
