I've had some questions about the waiver wire order since we've moved to faab.
The waiver wire order essentially is useless, so don't pay attention to it. The only time it comes into play is after this week and if there is a bid of the same amount on a player
You have $100 to spend for the year at your discretion.
Hope this clears some confusion up.

I see a potential issue with the current waiver claim system:
I own Posey and Segura. Had a hunch both would land on the DL today so I put in claims for backups. Only problem, neither player was officially placed on DL until this afternoon, so I had to drop players I would normally keep to make space for backups. Last year it wouldn't have been a problem because you could add FAs at will, but now I have to wait 24 hrs for a claim to process.
It's not the end of the world right now, but it could be a drag later in the season. Was the point if this rule to prevent streaming, or for setting a budget for free agents?

The point was to give everyone a fair opportunity at picking up closers. Dudes were rushing to make pickups as soon as any injury news came out regarding one.
