nah, in baseball I tried some of my key pieces for multiple players (opposite of what i did in basketball) and it just didnt work out. My keepers are damn improved from where I started this offseason

When I was in 3rd place I decided I wanted to make a run for the championship (Strasburg got hurt and I was stuck with only Ubadlo) and traded a few bats for arms. I over compensated. Is that the situation you are referring to?
At the beginning of the offseason my keepers looked like:
Votto
Lincecum
Stanton
Gallardo
Castro (Starlin)
Pence/Zobrist
They are now:
Grienke
Weaver
Cruz
Morneau
Youk
Stanton

Rondo I see where you are coming from, and I realize I'm going to need a big draft. FWIW when trading Cruz I was going to try and get a player and a pick to help with the draft holes. I made a mistake at the trade deadline, learned from it and am now in a bad position. But, it'll get better.
