eta--if Yahoo didn't keep track of team stats like they do, the rankings would be pretty accurate. I put zero stock in these power rankings.
I think a better way to do this would be rank all teams 1-12 in each category, then average out all 9 numbers and rank the teams that way.

i like the way ESPN's player rater does it
has their stats as a rate over the average across the board, and then adds up these rates for a single #

That's how I do my team and player rankings in TDBBL.
Except I weight the categories to give them equal value. I.e. 10 rpg = 2 3pg/bpg/spg
