Thanks in advance for any advice here...

12 team league-keep 4 players at end of year (no restriction on this/no draft pick given up)

4pt td passes
Pt/25 pass yds

Trying to repeat as champ bit dealing with Zeke issues. My 4 freezes are Zeke/DJ/Julio/Brees

Considering giving up Brees + 1.12 for Carr +1.01 to get my pick of the remaining players (top rookie RBs basically)

Thoughts?

Yes I'd do that all day

Brees has a couple years max left at the top. Carr has 10

No chance. You have a sick core. Keep Brees as he is an elite QB. You have three first rounders and arguably the best QB in fantasy. Win titles with your stupid elite RB/WR code.

For reference, who was 1.12 and 1.1 this season?

Yeah I ended up sitting tight. Was just tempted by the thought of Hunt or DCook. And I could see Carr with a big year. But Brees has always been a "set & forget" guy in my line-up.

Ended up taking Davante Adams & Martavis at the 1.12/2.01 to pair woth Julio. Rolling dice on Zeke getting at least a reduction. Didn't want to take McFadden. Ended up with TWest & Prosise as other RB options behind DJ if Zeke is out (Plus Kamara & D.Henderson as my rookie gambles).

Throw D-Jax & Golladay in at the other WR bench options & I think life will be good this year.

Thanks for the advice!

Good stuff. With Marty Bryant and Adams, those are two more high ceiling guys. I would just roll with your quad stud keepers until they prove otherwise.

Would have taken the trade. Had a chance to really stock up talent for the future with Carr & another young player.

Fair enough. I can definitely see the benefits of both sides which makes it tough. Owner on the other side was also having 2nd thoughts & neither of us seemed motivated to make it work.

FWIW...ended up 1.1 was Fournette & 1.12 was Martavis.

I probably would have had to sweeten the deal up with a middle round for a later round & wasn't willing to do it.
