Advice Needed For ROS. Thoughts on X. Worthy and R. Pearsall.

We’re going into the back half of the season and I’m trying to position myself to make a deep run. I would appreciate any thoughts and advice you guys have to offer. I’m currently in 2nd place, but I’m worried about my teams depth for the ROS, mainly at the WR position. I’m also a little concerned about Mayfield now with the injuries to his top 2 WR’s.
It’s a 12 team league with 5 bench spots and 1 ir spot. My team below.
QB- Mayfield
RB’s- Hall, Robinson, Cook, B. Allen
WR’s - McLauren, London, Worthy, Pearsall
TE’s - Craft and Otton (picked him up this morning)
Defense- Vikings and Chargers (plan to hold and play them the next 2 games)
Kicker - Seibert
Worthy - I drafted him with high hopes but he hasn’t produced nearly as well I hoped he would. He’s been on my bench all year and unless he can all of a sudden turn things around, he will ride the bench all year. I haven’t tried to trade him, but I’d be surprised if anyone would bite. So, what’s y’all’s thoughts on him? Hold on to him a couple more weeks? Try to trade him? Is he droppable at this point?
Pearsall - I picked him up last week and plugged him into my ir spot simply because my ir spot was open and thought I’d take a shot, why not. Fast forward to the weekend with Aiyuk out for the year and Deebo out with pneumonia, he all of sudden appears to offer a good bit of value. What’s everyone’s thoughts on him ROS with a healthy Deebo and Jennings?
TLDR: How can I / should I strengthen my team to make a deep run.
Thanks in advance!

Worthy is not good. I enjoyed seeing everyone cream their pants during week one when he scored on a blocked reverse and blown coverage that any WR in the NFL could have scored on.
Pearsall is a good wait and see.

Unfortunately, I don't see any meaningful trades you could make that wouldn't open up major holes in other areas of your lineup. Your bench is very thin as it is.
Worthy is a TD dependent flex option at best and Pearsall is likely the 3rd pass catching option at best in an offense that doesn't really want to air it out.

When Jennings returns & maybe CMC, he becomes the 5th. Might be fine for a plug & play this week, but you might be better off with an Elijah Moore, D. Vele, or one of the Rams WR's if Kupp does end up getting traded.

I like Pearsall more than this. The SF offense breeds insane passcatcher efficiency and it's not out of the question that he beats out Jennings in the pecking order.
The data shows that rookies do generally improve meaningfully in the 2nd half of the year so I'd be willing to keep Pearsall around to see if that materializes for him.

Yea, but the 2nd half of the year is his 1st half of the year.
