Honkus, I could give you a head start on your rebuilding with a package of Cueto and Sanchez or Bourn.

Morning Redd, care to get into the Price derby?

Well hell yeah, but I would guess that you are gonna tell me that you like Hanley and Josh Hamilton.

At first I was pissed when I heard he might be going to Texas, since I just traded him away on Monday. But, now that I hear it's a six year deal, I'm stoked.

According to Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times, the Cubs are close to acquiring Matt Garza from the Rays.

frick.

ETA: Although that gets him out of pitching in the AL East. I guess it's a wash.

News: The Sports Xchange reports Diamondbacks 1B Brandon Allen appears to be the other candidate besides Juan Miranda to play first base, although free agent signee Xavier Nady provides a fallback position.
Analysis: Allen, 24, had 37 homers and 118 RBI in 145 games at Triple-A Reno since being acquired in a trade in the summer of 2009.

As much shite as beltre gets, Seattle was not a good ball park for him. In his time there he actually had the 3rd highest OPS in the AL for 3rd basemen on the road. The mariners park just fricked him.
