I am in a 10 man 2 QB super flex league, PPR. The drafts tomorrow. Anybody here have experience with this type of league and are QBs put on a pedestal in these leagues? I’ve done mock drafts and they have been all over the place.

Im in year 3 of one.

My main success came when I had a top tier passer.

I would make sure to take a player in at least the first two tiers and you can stream the rest.

I actually like the format, making the QB position valuable makes the draft more fun IMO.

Do you think Jared Goff and Jimmy G would be a good combo?

I just paired up Goff with Tom Brady.

I think Goff outplays his ADP and Brady is Brady.

I would look to get maybe a Cousins or a Cam over Jimmy G if it was me.

Thanks for the advice. My last mock I got Aaron Rodgers and Alex Smith.

last year I waited really late to get both and loaded up on the other positions and it didn't work well, owners with an elite passer usually fricked me up.

I would still take the elite RBs first, and maybe an elite WR, but once they drop I would start looking at passers.

post your team in here after the draft

No prob. I will post as soon as I am done. Damndest thing I ever saw in a mock or real draft, my last mock. The guy who had the 1st round last pick and first 2nd round pick took Gronk and Kelce back to back

I’ve actually had success waiting on QB and getting to mid tier guys. I drafted this weekend and went Stafford / Rivers back to back and was able to load up the rest of my team outside of TE

I won last year with Winston/Wentz & Goff

So sure you would love to have a top tier guy, but at what cost? I don’t think there is a huge disparity between say QB4 & QB10 for instance.

Edit - I had first pick in the draft, and I went Stafford/Rivers with my 6/7 round picks.

Went : Bell, McCaffery, Mike Evans, Stef Diggs, Amari....then drafted QBs

For sure, you don’t need an elite but you need a passer in this range to do some damage.

I was in one where I had the 7th pick, Rodgers went the pick before me.

This was half ppr and 6 pt passing TDs.
