Saying when he was a kid, he didn’t have a place to swim, so he swam in the river….
I don’t know what river he was talking about, but I know it wasn’t the Mississippi…. Dude would’ve drowned…
He was a kid of the 70’s, there were public pools everywhere.

The truth level of claims in political commercials and speeches does not matter, just that it's delivered well enough to make voters believe it's true enough to draw them in and vote for you.

We used to swim in the Mississippi. Ride our bikes to the levee uptown and in we went.
