In the thread about overnight bullshite impacting the senate seats in PA, MI, and WI Penrod offers this as a defense of why it’s obvious no cheating happened:

It’s been true for a long time. Mail in votes and also incompetent inner city precincts, which are always late. I can remember the 1970’s when late arriving NOLA votes swung elections to Democrats in Louisiana, and when Woody Jenkins lost to Mary Landrieu he had the lead until late, then NOLA’s late arriving came in. I’ve been watching it for 50 years.
