Trump is currently sitting at 277 with AZ, NV, MI and AK still not through counting. Trump leads in all of them, with a 1.6% lead in MI with 97% of the votes counted. As it stands now, Trump is likely to break 300 EC votes.
Trump has won the popular vote by somewhere near 5M votes (the media calls this a "mandate" when Dems have done it over the last 20 years).
The GOP has moved to take 3 seats in the Senate to have a clear majority with 52 votes. Currently PA, NV and AZ are uncalled. AZ has only 60-something % votes counted and the race is tight. PA looks to go GOP. NV is too tight to call (about 1k votes separating with only 84% counted). At this point it looks like the GOP may well get 53 in the Senate.
In the House, thus far the GOP has added 1 seat. There are still some races yet to call but thus far it's looking good.
In Governor's races, of the 11 races, GOP candidates won 8 (I believe this means there has been no change in the 27-23 GOP-Dem status.
Welcome to a new "Morning in America"!
Now the real work begins with Trump getting trustworthy banner-carriers, instead of party-first political wafflers, into key positions to make some real change in the swamp.
