We've seen the melts, post some of these gloats from FB

Not really a gloat, but well said.
I’m seeing a lot of hysterical posts this morning, and quite frankly, I’ve had it. The liberal mindset of “I’m open minded as long as you agree with everything I believe in” is absolutely absurd. I am sick and tired of being shamed by my liberal friends for having an opinion different from theirs. ALL of our opinions and voices matter, and this time it went “my” way. That means half my news feed is happy and half is heartbroken.
The most common theme is “what do I tell my kids” … What do you tell your kids?
You tell your kids that this is a great country, and no matter how much you want something to happen, you don’t always win. You tell them that in most elections, the country is divided pretty equally in popular vote and sometimes it goes your way, sometimes it doesn’t. That doesn’t mean their friends are “idiots” (etc.). You tell them that now is the time to look forward and hope the person who won does well, makes changes that need to be made and pulls this country together after a particularly nasty election. You tell them that despite what they’ve heard from very biased media, different opinions on what this country needs doesn’t make half this country racist, sexist, homophobic, bigoted, etc. just because they voted for someone differently from who you voted for. You tell them that there is a system of checks and balances and no one individual is going to push through extreme policy, no matter how dramatic a Facebook post their friends make. And i hope you realize that you’re showing them a lot more than you’re telling them in your actions, reactions and behavior. Lick your wounds, but look ahead and move forward.
You want to move? Fine. Take your toys and go. But that fixes absolutely nothing. Volunteer for your candidate in the next election. Get involved in your local government. Go help at a soup kitchen or children’s hospital. Do your part to make a difference in a country that is wonderful, and will always be wonderful.
If you’re my friend on Facebook, it's because I love you dearly. And your posts melting down and calling people who voted differently than you did names hurts me deeply. I didn’t call you names when your guy won the last time. Give me some of the same respect.
