I am putting my personal dislike/disgust toward John Kennedy to the side...

Having another Republican Senator is more important to the country than my personal feelings.
I could never vote for Foster Campbell as he is the "Boss Hogg" of Louisiana.
It may be a rationalization but I'm going to vote to MAGA rather than vote for a candidate, I dislike. Kennedy will get my vote.
