Do you believe that this is a one-off, unique to Trump's appeal? Or permanent?
If the latter, how fricked is the DNC? There aren't enough coastal progressives to win a national election on their own.

Bring them jobs, and they will keep voting for you.

The Democrat party has become the party of Wall Street. When I grew up they were the party of the working man. Things have changed.

You can't keep calling the working class uneducated racist and expect them to keep voting for you.

Dems haven't done anything for them recently except impose more legislation pushing jobs overseas. These people are domestic people. They are the same types that built Detroit. They made a living in the US industries and have seen their jobs dwindle and had to stretch their wages further and further. They voted for the new "hope and change". If it pays off their support will only grow.
