Bernie Sanders Should Have Been A Bigger Red Flag For Dems

Bernie Sanders has been around for a long time, but for all practical purposes as far as the Presidency goes he came out of nowhere, he is a self-admitted socialist and 199 years old. Even with all this he was a sneeze away from getting the nomination over Hillary even though she had all the backing and it was "her turn."
Combining this with the similarities between Trump and Sanders (yes, they are different in many ways, but more similar than you would like to think, especially the being viewed as an "outsider."
Anyway, Hillary coming so close to losing to Bernie should have been a HUGE red flag for the Dems.
