...Alleva chose O over Aranda to become interim HC. If Aranda was chosen, there would be no doubt he'd still be here. Most competent coach/wizard since Saban. As a co-HC, Aranda was really the one running the ship. He was the only one who could hold a football related conversation with Brady with the on and off the field maturity to lead a team.

I mean you don't make Aranda that highly paid of a DC, let alone offer him the title "co/assistant HC" unless he's critical to the success of a program. We've all been there with incompetent bosses where you get generous performance raises/titles annually to cover their arse because they lack technical skills, but are good at talking.
