Being overly cautious - am I allowed to start the Holiday version of the OT 10 Tournament?

Last time it kept getting anchored toward the end of the tournament but I think that may have been due to multiple threads instead of just updating the current one and keeping it in one thread.
Fred & company -- am I gonna get banned or will it get anchored if I start the holiday one that was previously promised? I'd like to finish it if I'm allowed to start it.

If you were to start it we don't care.
It got fricked up last year because you were trying to do multiple threads per day and would change the thread titles and original post.
Try one thread per day and update the standings in the new thread.
