Anyone buy the writers theory?

I just can’t.

Thoughts?

What’s his theory? For those who haven’t read it

The theory that I read was that somehow the snow became unstable. And they were afraid of an imminent avalanche. So they fled the tent in a hurry. They ended up in three groups. One group began to freeze to death, started a fire, and eventually froze to death. Second group tried to climb back towards the tent to retrieve clothes and sleeping bags. They froze to death along the way. Third was alive when the avalanche hit, and it buried them so they weren't found until spring time.

Does the book propose a different turn of events?

He proposes an infrasound theory-

That sound reverberated so loudly, it caused humming in their chests so they freaked out and cut their way out of the tent.

Then he says there were tornados.

I just don’t know why they would ditch their gear and slice themselves out the back of the tent. It doesn’t make any sense.
