Sports media is just as terrible as regular news media. They have severe biases and are basically the enemy of the people. We have experienced this in Louisiana sports for a while now.

Someone refresh my memory - was the sports media in general THIS salty when the Cavs (another small market team) got the first overall pick in the draft three times over four years?

Hell no. But then again it was Andrew Wiggins and Kyrie. They were no where near as hyped as Zion. And they were actually the worst team that year.

I’d imagine if Zion wasn’t in this class and it was a toss up between Ja and RJ for the first player, nobody would be nearly as mad. Their only pissed cause we get the transcendental player.

They crowned him to go to the Knicks and revive basketball for a completely deperate franchise(even though he probably wouldve been traded for AD) so that's a huge reason for the galatic melt. The pels also have a lot of ire from lakers/L.A due to the AD fiasco which is fresh.

Both markets have been fricked over by the pels in their eyes

Do we really have enough in cap space to sign Kemba Walker?
