I wanted to give it a chance, and I wanted to reward EA for making a single player game without a mountain of micro transaction bullshite.

I really wanted to like the game, and I hope it gets a sequel. Hopefully Respawn will add the things I wanted next time.

It’s definitely not Force Unleashed, but it’s a good game. I didn’t know there was going to be a sequel, so it makes sense Cal feels under powered besides not completing his training. I was sucked in the first 15 minutes. The opening sequence was pretty great, though I can see how people may have issues with it

. I tried to go back through and pick up loot I had missed, and dear fricking god, was it the biggest fricking chore ever. I only had one left on Dathomir, so I figured I would start there. I spent 45 minutes trying to get to the location. Then when I hit dead end after dead end, I realized I had to functionally replay the entire level again to get to that point.

I’m glad I wasn’t the only person who did this

There isn’t much good sentiment on the board about it but I really enjoyed it. Agree with whoever said the loot system was such a missed opportunity. Ponchos and ship colors? That was pretty lame. But the lightsaber customization was pretty cool.

I’m VERY stoked about a potential sequel on the PS5.

I've tried playing through it twice, both times I end up just getting bored with it. I enjoy the combat (souls light) but the map design like others have mentioned really kills it for me. The long treks back through the level are just a pain, and don't add anything to the experience. Also, the normal excitement of finding hidden secrets / loot is much diminished because all of it is cosmetic crap that doesn't do anything. Hopefully they learned some lessons and the sequel will be better.
