My 4 iron is a 921 HM. I love it. That’s all I can add
My short and mid irons are titleist T300s. I think the mizuno is a better looking club.
If you’re wondering why the split set, when I bought my iron set it was 6-PW. The mygolfspy research suggested the 921 was the top performer in strokes gained on long irons. That why I opted for that, glad I did.

Ive played 919s and they are butter but most consider them to be a little "short" relative to other game improvement irons.
The new ones are supposed to resolve that while keeping the Mizuno feel.
I don't think anyone has ever had any REAL complaints with Mizuno, some of the best irons out there.

I just got the 921 HM pros. I love them so far. Super hot of the face. A good balance of forgiveness and workability.

Buddy got fitted for a whole set, he says they are the best irons he’s ever had.

Got the 921 forged. Love them
Super accurate, although I did lose 10 yards or so.. but I’ll take that any day for the accuracy gained

I hit them yesterday at PGA superstore and am about to pull the trigger on them.
I was fitted recently into Taylormade Sims but the Mizuno HM 921 feel better to me.

What were you playing before to lose 10 yards? The 921 Forged are still strong lofted irons with a 31 degree 7 iron. Curious to know what played before and did you make a shaft change?

Went from a stiff to x stiff shaft, Had an old Callaway set of my dads
This is my first set of forged, so I’m still learning how to hit them, when I connect it is a sweet, sweet feeling

Still curious why you would lose 10 yards when you didn't add any loft to the irons. Perhaps you went to a higher launch shaft but still seems like a large distance loss. Also, forged shouldn't change the way you hit the club or how far the ball travels. If you told me you went from Callaway Mavriks to JPX Tours I would understand because of the drastic difference in loft.
Anyway, just was curious why you would have a 10 yard loss on switching to those clubs. The lofts in the 921 Forged are still strong lofts and don't think people should expect a distance loss so it peaked my interest.

Most likely a different shaft. Could be the ball as well affecting the spin off the face.

Even Loft being equal, Mizunos have been know you cost many players yards throughout their lineup. But what most gain in accuracy and feel as others have mentioned, outweighs it.
They’ve been trying to address their distance the last 2 releases.
